Crossflow Filtration Systems
Revolutionizing Wine Filtration

Welcome to the forefront of filtration technology, where efficiency meets sustainability. Our range of crossflow filtration systems is designed to address the diverse needs of the wine industry, from small to large-scale producers. Discover how our systems can integrate into your production, whether you need wine filtration, lees filtration, or both.

Our Featured Systems
Pall Corporation

Since 1990 Scott Laboratories and Pall Corporation (then Seitz Filtration) have collaborated to bring the industry’s leading depth filtration technology to the North American wine & beverage market. Today, Scott Laboratories is proud to offer Pall’s most innovative Crossflow filtration solutions. Pall crossflows offer superior filtration and automated process control, resulting in quick, easy filtration. Pall crossflows are top quality with unparalleled durability and longevity.

Oenoflow™ XL-E

Designed to meet the needs and requirements of small and mid size wineries, the XL-E is a fully automated crossflow system with user-friendly software, cycle programming, and a compact footprint.

Oenoflow™ PRO XL-S
Designed to meet the needs of mid-sized wineries, the XL-S comes with next-generation Oenoflow PRO software that leverages automation to optimize throughput and reduce operator variation and error.
Oenoflow™ PRO XL-A

Engineered to meet the needs and requirements of large wineries and bottlers, the XL-A can replace traditional filter aids (DE), centrifugation, etc. The XL-A systems also come standard with Oenoflow PRO technology.

Pall Oenoflow™ PRO Technology

The Oenoflow PRO XL technology (available in the XL-S and XL-A models) leverage Pall’s Optimizer algorithm which automatically adjusts system settings in real time based on the beverage's individual physical and chemical characteristics. These optimized settings replace standard settings that are not efficient for every production cycle.

With the Oenoflow PRO system’s advanced automation and ease of use, customers can expect fewer operator errors and eliminate variability between operators.

VLS Technologies

Scott Laboratories is proud to carry the full line of VLS Technologies filtration solutions for North American wine and specialty beverage producers. VLS crossflows are cost-effective and scalable. Start small and grow with your production by adding additional filtration capacity when you need it.

TMF Crossflow
The VLS TMF crossflow comes in semi- and fully-automated options. The TMF is also available in 3, 6, and 9 membrane options with the ability to add membranes to the smaller models at a later time.
TLS Lees Crossflow

Engineered for filtering high-solids products such as lees and wine musts, the TLS is an automatic and economical alternative alternative to rotary drum vacuum filters and diatomaceous earth (DE) filters.

UNICO All-in-One

The Unico is an all-in-one solution for small to medium wineries, capable of filtering heavy solids (lees) and finished wine alike.

Considering Switching to Crossflow?

Considering switching from depth media to crossflow? Crossflow systems come with many benefits including:

Scalability
Crossflow systems can help you grow your production. Beverage producers often consider crossflow when they're on the verge of outgrowing depth media for their initial filtrations.
Automation
Crossflows are totally or semi-automated, whereas depth filtration methods are manual and require a specifically trained operator. Increase flexibility by allowing more staff to be able to run the machine.
Sustainability
Crossflow filtration requires no consumables. Producers often consider crossflow when production becomes large enough that depth media waste is significant.
Labor Savings
Crossflow systems can have significantly higher throughput than depth media. Replacing multiple depth filtration systems with one crossflow can impact labor and operation costs.
